I started a website in 2015 and bought a domain; Its been nearly 7 years.
I regret dipping out prematurely right when flash and web video was taking off nearly 15 years ago. Then today I was suddenly reminded of how good it felt not to feel obligated to do anything.
So here I am thinking about it.

I pulled the game from the newgrounds portal. It sucked, It needs more work. I get the same 2 genuine comments for each petty misaligned comment. I appreciate all comments but the turn out was super low this time. I'm more than upset, and very disappointed.

Now I will relate to you a memory many of you may or may not remember.
It was a chill december in 2006 or 2007 and I was reading about the editors on 1up.com being utterly fascinated with the Gameboy Final Fantasy Game. A few clicks away from that, I'd read about the shadowy rising fame of cave story from long time video game writer Jeremy Parrish and his recent fascination with the term "Metroidvania"
Absolutely all of that shit is gone.
1up.com is gone in all forms online or offline
Final fantasy DS or "Renevant wings" is gone and probably overpriced on ebay
The Gameboy is no longer being made, its now the switch.
Final Fantasy 12 is well over 10 years old.
I remain unphased.
People ask me if I've ever played the newest castlevania and my mind pops to the launch title on the gameboy advance from 2000-2001. I'm permanently stuck in that year and I'd like to get away from it somehow.
Moving to thunderbay did very little to change that and probably reinforced it
I'd like to move on from a lot of these thoughts one day
Going to delete soon.
